XOXO,
Annie.

LOL
Glad that worked for you Annie. I tried that at a bar once. It totally backfired. The guy wouldn't leave me alone for the rest of the night. He kept offering to buy me drinks if I'd kiss a chick in front of him  .

I came

No, you aren't small

The fake name, phone number, etc. for guys at bars.

I'll call you back (after you have called me a million times today, why bother?)

I have to admit, I NEVER ADMIT TO MY REAL "MAGIC NUMBER"
nobody does, though. Two of my girl friends know and that is it.

Along the lines of Fewdfreak ... about figureing out the year they were born. Well This was a few summers back and I worked at a restaurant, and one of hte girls that we (my best friend jen and I ) worked at also worked at this kinda sketchy bar about 15 min away. So we decide to go. Well we walk in (I'd never been in a bar before... I was 17) but ive been drinking since i was like 15. So the bartender tells these guys that we were her friends and we were both 21. So jen and I flip out and quickly make up names, colleges, sororities, and when we were born ( i don't know why we did that). Well we hung out all night them buying us drinks and shots , then they wanted to go hang out, so I pipe up and was like.. we can't we have to go meet our friends in NYC (it's about 20 min train ride), and then they got my (fake) number, and we left...

...not without a kiss though.

yeah... they were 23 :(

I gave a guy that was trying to hit on me this girl I didn't like name and phone number so he would leave me alone. I seen him a week later an he was calling me by her name and I had totally forgot that I had lied to him and I was a little tipsy so I starting cussing him out. It was really crazy.

That is so funny!! :D

When I was 17 and working, there was this scary guy that would come all the time and he said he would go there to see me... scary. Anyway, I once told this guy I was engaged so he would leave me alone and stop stalking me at work. It was pretty scary.. my boss even threatened to call the police on this guy.

LOL!!! You guys are funny!

ilovemyglo? Why lie about the being small thing? YOU are the one that suffers! lol. The one time I had a guy who turned out to be small, I told him I was out of the mood.

texas*princess, I have had to lie to avoid stalkers too. I told one I was moving to London.

I, too, have tried the lesbian thing. The guy didn't keep pursuing me, but he did offer a 3some. I was like if I didn't want you alone...hmm...oh well, lol.

LOL @ pinkey08!

I am horrible for being tipsy and accidentally giving out the right number, lol. I think drinking impairs my ability to lie. :(

This is a good thread! :D

Why can't you ladies ever just be straightforward and say you don't like him, you don't find him attractive, he repulses you.....etc.

Saves a lot of trouble figuring out if you were just trying to let him down nicely, because we can figure it out, and it still hurts.

Sorry, I'm Mr. Brutal Honest Truth.

Heh, just for me, I'd rather she tell me str8 out that she can't stand my prescence than to BS me and make it look like I have a glimmer of hope.

Why would you think you had a glimmer of hope ifsomeone told you she was a lesbian?

Lying is fun. I am a senior, but I had to take some form of a math class. I took the simplest class there was which was full of freshmen. The first day of class I sat by the door. A large group of freshmen came in and wanted to know if this was Mat 117. I replied, "no, this is Phy 708, I think mat 117 is down the hall." They apologized and left. The best part is that here at murray state, class numbers only go up to the 600s.

They came back the next day and though it was funny.

A glimmer of hope that he might get to see two women together is probably more than a guy can handle... ;)

No, I mean "maybe if I'm not busy", "Im too busy" when you're not, "you're too nice a guy", "I have a boyfriend" when you really don't, "call me sometime" even though you never intend on actually making date. Stuff like that.

gphi2k2 10-22-2002 04:03 PM

I think letting you know she has no interest in your entire sex pretty much means that you don't have a glimmer of hope.

Look, if a chick tells you she's gay, not bisexual, but gay, it means one of two things. 1) she's not into guys or 2)she can't stand your presence and you dont' have a glimmer of hope. Either way, take the hint!
