This shirt didn't look like "ABC family bbq 2007" or something, it specifically said "AKA Pretty Girls wear 20 pearls." That's a huge difference.

I forget the whole story about the man in the ADPi shirt, but here's what I do remember.
The guys with him are Americans working in the Middle East on something technical. The one did mention that it was a girl's shirt, and the Contender for Homeliest ADPi Ever almost took his shirt off. They then did tell him that it was for a group for very beautiful young women, and he was happier. As for the rest of his fashion sense, I'm going to give him a Negative 9 on a scale of one to ten! |
Once a few years ago I was leaving a CVS in a rather sketchy part of town and saw a lady pushing a small grocery cart out of a Dollar Store lot and up over a set of RR tracks.
When I got around her, I could clearly see she had on a sweat shirt with THREE GREEK DELTAs on thd front—sewn-on letters in a bright floral pattern I think. Let me just say the sweatshirt MIGHT have been a M and she was DEFINITELY a L or XL! Also, there’s a Goodwill location a half block away. Clearly she was doing the best she could BUT—not in a Tri Delta shirt! There is a chapter on a local campus. |

I have a pile of T-shirts and a couple of letter sweatshirts from my collegiate days. I almost never wear them, except to go to the gym, but I won't donate them. There's an AEPhi chapter in town (Tulane) and I don't want them to get in hot water because some rando picked up an AEPhi T-shirt at Goodwill and then went over to Bourbon St. and got their drunk on. Also, in AEPhi, if you're not a sister, you're not allowed to wear the Greek letters. (Even new members can't wear letters.) So I'm doubly uncomfortable about donating my letters. |

I would've had to open my big mouth and say something to him, and I'm not even D9. That's just...ridiculous. |
