Demanding that SAE relinquish its national headquarters, which is private property? How communistic of him.

If I were Sterling, I would be embarrassed of the lack of writing skills, and understanding of property law and simple economics I had just exhibited in my inane article, and I would concentrate on improving those inadequacies before I write another article.

FSUZeta, this is great! Make it go viral!

I'm sorry, but for a very long time, UMass' Greek Life has been the opposite of a powerful culture.

Yup. This. I giggled when UMass was a headliner here for powerful Greek culture….

Also, unless Theta Chi has moved, these protests must have seriously clogged the middle of campus…

This sums up that monstrosity of an article quite well. Thank you.

Sadly, the more I reflect on this subject, I think the best path forward for fraternities is to simply ignore the mob. The mob is ridiculous. The kind of stupid double standard advocated by this author deserves to be mocked, not carefully considered or responded. to. The best thing for fraternities to do is to simply ignore the mob. When they come at us with Title IX investigations, we take them to court and we win. It's simple as that.

You can't placate people who deny your organization's right to exist.

As far as I know, Theta Chi is still in the middle of campus along with Phi Sig. IGU and SDT still have their houses on North Pleastant, and PIKE's old house is now being used by Delta Sig. Chi O is still in the same house, Pi Kap moved into AXO's old house, and most of the other GLOs have their unofficial houses because Amherst does not like Greek Life. I'll be there for the Homecoming game in early November, so I can take a look around then too.
