Well, thank you so much. I am sure the Kappa Alpha Theta chapter there will be relieved that they really aren't losing anything important, like a place to belong, support, sisterhood and a place to call home.

Would Theta possibly consider keeping the chapter open and unrecognized by the school?

1 srat and 2 frats don't really make a "Greek life." But, sure they got the short end of the stick and should talk to their Greek hating administration.

I have no idea. If we tried, I would expect the same kind of crap pulled that Harvard did, after chasing Greeks off campus did not kill the organizations.

I showed this to a senior who has been accepted to Swarthmore, among others. The daughter of Greeks. she was horrified that a school would generalize like this and has declined her acceptance.

"And no one's gettin' fat 'cept Mama Cass!" :D

I hope she gave Swarthmore the reason she was declining her acceptance.

She says she did. I'm proud of her. She has so many other acceptances to choose from!

I believe the linked article says the chapter will be allowed to operate until 2022, but they cannot recruit.
