Our Alpha Phi Omega chapter’s designation of Omega Mu was something we didn’t want to publicize quite as much after Revenge of the Nerds came out. :p

At Loyola in New Orleans, there’s a local fraternity with a long name — Beta Epsilon Gamma Gamma Alpha Rho Sigma = BEGGARS.
At Georgia Tech, there’s a local co-ed fraternity named Psi Upsilon (PU?)

That’s not a local fraternity. That’s the Gamma Tau chapter of Psi Upsilon, an international fraternity (and NIC member) founded at Union College in 1833.
