Yep, I know where GP is. I live about an hour from there, if that.

Good luck! :)

I know where Grosse Pointe is too! it's so cool to hear about a rush story from back home..well kinda back home.

BTW one of my fave movies was Grosse Pointe Blank....

Good Luck again!

Good Luck!
Be yourself and try to have fun. That's the best way to go through recruitment.

There are a few that I am interested in so far, Sigma Kappa and Kappa Alpha Theta, but I don't want to go in thinking that those are the only ones that I would want to be a part of. There are some chapters that I know nothing about, so hopefully I will get to know more about them. And thanks to everyone who wished me good luck, you guys are awesome here :)

Best of luck to you and most of all have FUN! I know nothing about the KD chapter there, I just remember visiting the campus for BG/MSU hockey - it's a gorgeous place!

Keep us posted!:p

Just got back from meeting with the Rho Chis. They are so awesome, and I cannot wait for tommorow.

Have fun! I'm glad you're keeping an open mind. There are some great groups on your campus (Kappa Kappa Gamma, for example!), and I would hope your being a junior wouldn't affect your chances.

At the University of South Carolina, juniors and seniors are considered "free" new members, meaning they don't count towards quota. Needless to say, at USC, juniors and seniors are most welcome!!!

Good luck--keep us posted!

I think that is fantastic! I wish it were like that at every school!

Spartygirl, good luck, and I can't wait to hear all about your rush!

So, how was the first day? Please keep us rush thread addicts informed, SpartyGirl!

MSU is the same - Juniors and Seniors do not count towards quota.

State does have some wonderful chapters (all of them actually) but keep an open mind and remember that the chapter is more than the house :)

The first day went well, it was so exhausting , we spent 5 hours going to each soroities booth in the IM. I was invited back to Pi Beta Phi, Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Omnicron Pi and Sigma Delta Tau. We go to the houses tonight.

Allie 10-04-2002 03:32 PM

Best of luck with rush! :)

My old roomie was an AOTT and I know a handful of the Pi Phi's and I live across from the Thetas, so I will most definitly be checking up on your rush thread! I hope you have FUN during rush and best of luck to you!

Can we get an update. I have seen a lot of girls visit the Theta house in the last two days, so I'm dying to hear the rest of your rush story :)
