I think that we all take turns in the "hot seat" and I have never seen any purpose or benefit in (a) finger pointing (b) affixing blame (c) gloating over someone else's troubles or difficulties.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon has my support as they deal with these issues head-on. I get it. I do. Because: when I supervised 110-120 people, it was the three or four (maybe it was actually closer to six) who couldn't get it together who consumed the lion's share of my energy and efforts. They were soul-suckers whose actions tarnished the rest of the employees.

Let's remember all the good that comes out of our chapters, okay? Happy New Year and thanks, John, for another year of GC.

So remember how Clemsongirl created those maps about NPC expansion... is it sad that if she were to create one for the fraternities, I think there would be more activity on the maps if she focused on chapter closures rather than those being (re)chartered...?

Perhaps that's just the impression that I get reading through the colonies/expansion/closure thread lately.

Yes, a lot of IFC closures. But, one thing to remember is that IFC fraternity colonies tend to take 2-4 years to gain their charters. So, the majority of IFC fraternities have more colonies that are in the process of gaining charters than closed chapters for the past and future semesters.
