This thread is hilarious!

1. Women need to stop giving men stream of consciousness reports of their feelings, at the moment they have them.

Men generally don't know how to process that information. Are we supposed to apologize, make it right, argue, just listen, or what?

2. Women need to stop trying to get us to be in the same emotional mood they are.

A lot of time women seem to get upset when men aren't upset when they are. So they proceed to try and get us upset so they can feel better.

Then when they feel better we are left upset.

Men really aren't taught to be that way.

3. Women need to understand that victimizing us because they are having a bad day is not endearing. It weakens the relationship.

Come on men . . . its happened to all of us. The woman is in a bad mood, and instead of letting us help her out of it, she decides to be short and moody with us. For hours!

4. Women need to tell men what is wrong upfront!

Often times women will ruin an entire evening because something is bothering them but they don't want to spill it. You have to go through the whole "words women use cycle" (see thread) with a lot of fines and whatevahs.

Until finally they spill out at the end of the night after ruining dinner and a movie for us men. Wasted money for us.

I guess its part of the anger (make men suffer), argument (hash the problem out), redemption (usually affection/sex) cycle.

*sigh* I understand that we can't always skip from anger straight to redemption but why oh why can't we hash everything out earlier?

Must men ruin hours of their lives because women can't get a grip on their neurosis?

Seriously though, the more time you spend trying to figure women out, the more frustrated you will get. Same goes for women. Stop worrying about it.

When you causally invite her to a party and she gleefully accepts then a few moments later she gives a list of excuses why she might not show up. Don’t accept the invitation if your busy and don’t give me an exurbanite amount of excuses. Maybe it just me but I thought it was rather tacky.

Librasoul, you RULE! This is probably the most intelligent thing I've heard anybody come up with yet. Perhaps add "agree" to the list, but that could be the same thing as smiling and nodding.

Yeah I hate that. Its even worse when its to formal and she says yes and then comes up with excuses when its too late to find a date that would be cool with it on short notice.

What is really annoying is when a girl has tits big enough to be used as life jacket and complains about they are too small. Or is skinny and says she's too fat.

Just so you know why I hadn't responded, I was keeping the fast and other restrictions of Yom Kippur. Also, I'd like to ask you all for forgiveness of any past aggravation and insult I may have caused you whether directly or indirectly. I take full responsibility and hope I have not hurt anyone too greatly.

In regards to girls that act annoying and expect guys to put up with it (smile and nod), you'll find many guys willing to do so. They have no backbone and want a girlfriend so badly because they see independence as a bad trait. These are the guys that will reflect on themselves and at the end of the day excuse their shortcomings by saying, "It's because I'm a nice guy."

Girls that complain all the time should realize there are girls that don't - albeit not that many. In other words, you are not a permanent fixture in anyone's life. We will often take down your number, tell you we will call, and just don't. And guys that accept anything in the name of being nice should also realize their weaknesses and work to fix it because the girl is looking for a relationship, not a servant.

And if you really feel the need to talk about how small your breasts are on a daily basis you need to think about that. I don't know any guys that go around talking about their grasshopper penises.

the reason so many women discuss their breasts is b/c they are right their out for everyone to judge (covered but out there). a man's penis is in his pants, not visible to the general public as they walk down the street. not to say women won't discuss the size of a guys penis (someone they've slept with) in private.
yes we bitch, and that's b/c we don't want to pent up all of our anger like men usually do. if we did that, God help every being with a penis when we explode. remember - hell hath no fury like a woman's wrath.
yes, most women want a relationship instead of a one night stand. although there are many exceptions. we just can't deal with the emotional part of it. guys tend not to have as much of an emotional connection to sex. we do so get over it.
oh yeah, and optimist prime - thank you so much for that comment on breasts. i do in fact have breast that are big enough to be life preservers (about a G cup) but i really don't want them to be any bigger. in fact i wish they were a lot smaller. and i don't bitch about being over weight cuz i know i did it to myself and i can take care of it myself. okay, i'm done.:)

I swear, men SAY they hate whining but do SO MUCH of it.
