And what does your blurb at the bottom mean? Are you implying that we are the greatest nation of all time too? See the Bush thread from when it got majorly sidetracked, lol. And I guess a few "imperfections" like oh, dropping a few bombs here and there, oops, released that deadly chemical...oh golly gee, I just blew up a wedding ceremony, haha, silly me! So I am not perfect! But I am still the greatest! |

Libra, the first shot that Brought the USA in was the sinking of a Submarine, but did you happen to notice that the Japanese were already planning the attack and had a Force on the way! That and several other submarines were sent there to spy and disrupt what became known as the day of infamy!
The Japanese were members of the Axis, Germany, Italy and Japan! I am sorry but if you read the whole article and have lived that History maybe you can talk of what happened! History Books are distorted! Do the Japanese History Books talk about the reason that the USA got in the War? No. They to this day deny it! Did FDR know of the impending war coming to the USA! Yes. Why, because of the ecomomic situation of the USA! How do you pick up the economy of a country, you have a war! Just how close are we coming to in being in a war with the Middle East! How is our Economy? 1 + 1 adds to =2! Get your facts together before you put this on lime! I remember my Father being in Boot Camp in Texas and then did not see him for over 2 years! Just what do you know by your post? Do you know of what you speak? |
Tom just to correct you, the first shot was not the sinking of the submarine but the attacking of a surveillance plane by the Japanese. Read my post above.

Way off topic!
:) Librasoul, I hope you don't take offense, but I've been thinking about people's signatures. I think yours is more like Liberalsoul! When I see UFPike_98PC- I think, Politically Correct since 1998? What was it before? Sometimes I think it could be RUDEy- Of course sometimes I may appear to JAM my opinion down people's throats! Just all struck me funny! Hope others see the humor and don't get angry!:D |

Rudey...thanks for the history lesson. If your information is true about the bomber then I stand corrected. I will continue to research, because I have learned through many sources that the United States actually made the first strike, but that was the only tangible info I could find in a short period of time. Lemme do some deeper research before I concede totally! ;) Now as far as the retaliation, no that is not the incorrect word. You wanna talk about apples and oranges! The U.S. consistenly bullies soverign nations. Why? Because we can. There is MUCH documentation to back up the actions that precipitated the attacks on the United States. Again, I am short on time so I will have to come back to post for you. The U.S. is, AS OF RIGHT NOW, the greatest nation. Sigh. See what you made me do? I said it! But I STILL do not like our leadership and I STILL think there are MANY things wrong with it. To say that does NOT imply comparison. People that think it does are sideswiping the issue. I can dislike something without automaticaly thinking of something that I like better...does that make sense? Tom Earp...in one short sentence, you said it all, buddy... Quote:
