I am also very glad that no one got hurt. I am very upset and appauled by the whole thing. And did you all follow the link posted by CT4? did you read the comment that was posted? The comment basically suggested that Lamba Zeta and/or the chapter of Omega Psi Phi be disbanned due to the "company" that we keep."

I just pray that the police catch those responsible for setting this fire.

I'm just in total disbelief.

Shots Fired at University of Alabama Kappa House

Shots fired in fraternity party dispute

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Shots were fired at a University of Alabama
fraternity house as a group of men tried to force their way into a
party there, police and fraternity members said.

No one was injured in the shooting, which took place Friday night in
the parking lot of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity house, university
police spokeswoman Beth Turner said. Mario Bailey, a fraternity
member, told the campus newspaper The Crimson White that a group of
men tried to enter the party without showing student IDs as required.
Fraternity members pushed them away, locked the gate and called
police, Bailey said.

"Usually when we have to turn people away, they go on away," he said.
"That didn't happen this time."

Turner said investigators found four shell casings in the parking
lot. No charges have been filed, Turner said.

Police said the shooting seems to be unrelated to a fire and shooting
earlier last week.

Two students were arrested for firing shots after a picnic last
Wednesday sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta sorority and Omega Psi Phi
fraternity. Hours later, a fire was set at the sorority's house.

No one was injured in that shooting or the fire, police said.
