Dear Santa,
I have been pretty good this year and I would like

-the guy I am currently talking to, to ask me to be his girlfriend
-a 2003 Red Isuzu Rodeo with leather seats
-to win the lottery so I can pay off my student loans
-to make all A's in my classes
-to be in the New York City Ballet (this one I know will never happen but it's always been a dream) :-)

Dear Santa,

I've been a really good girl this year, so I would like it if you could bring:

*Good health to everyone in my family
*Jobs to those I am close to that are unemployed right now and are having a hard time of it (Please bring those now!)
*The strength to be successful in my ultra-stressful first year of law school
*Happiness to everyone that I know!
*For my boy to get a job (see #2) and be able to move close to me in Baton Rouge.
*For the police to catch the serial murderer (Please bring this now now NOW!)

Oh yeah, and a navy blue Passat would be nice too :)

Dear Santa,

As for intangible things such as health, happiness, more teaching hours, and peace, I'll talk to the Man Upstairs about those. Likewise, getting this house sold. However, there's one tangible thing we're hoping for:


Please bring us at least one more little daughter!

Dear whomever,

This year bring me:

Hope because there are so many people in the world without it.

Peace because to have hope you need peace.

Love because there is no chance for hope and peace without love.

and finally,

Joy which will come as a result of the above three being granted.

I hope I'm not being to greedy.

But I do want a job after my contract end. So far I got 4 offers, and they are all, uhm, interesting. Decent pay but really messed up places. So I would like an offer where i can have a high internet speed so I can actually do the etree thing.

Dear Santa,

I'm sorry there weren't any cookies out for you last year, but I hope you enjoyed the wine & cheese & fudge. I know that I've leaned towards "naughty" on several occasions this year, but I've never not been nice. In fact, I'm always nice, even when I'm being naughty. That said, I understand that you have more important things to take care of this year, but if you could spare the elves, I'd greatly appreciate your consideration of this list.

What I Would Like For Christmas (Please):

• Quota to double at my school (permanently);
• To bid quota without the need for snapping and COB to total by the end of the year (or at least have more members than you-know-which chapter, and feel free to start on that one early);
• A house for my chapter;
• Chapter presidency;
• Sufficient financial security to move to Pittsburgh next summer and get my Dalcroze certification from CMU;
• A certain adorable, dreamy-eyed, wavy-haired filmmaker to sweep me off my feet and tell me he can't live without me;
• My parents to get off my case about when I'm going to graduate;
• Permission to have a kitty in my dorm room (I can find the kitty myself at the Humane Society);
• And as the angels say, Peace on Earth & Goodwill toward Men.
