It really gets the blood pumping during rush, plus has the visual. A non-rush song we did that I liked was "I want you to know". Does anyone else remember the words to that? I'm sure it changes from chapter to chapter, to use the other sororities' names.

We had a really terrible experience with a TCC, and were very wary of the one that came the next year. Just to break down the barriers, she told us some *ahem* songs that became the basis for our "Unofficial Underground SongBook"!! One sister took the time to make copies of all the ADPi songs, plus some fraternity songs, and put them in the catagories of Good, Bad, and Ugly!

Wonder if there are any copies floating around...?

Our chapter uses this cheer during recruitment, as the potential members are entering the room. It is so fun!

my new favorite that we learned from our tcc this spring during recruitment is a chant from usc i think... it's called hope you know and it kinda sounds like the fraggle rock song -- it goes:

I have to agree with pretty much everyone who mentione "Boom Boom", that is my favorite rush song.
I also really like the songs "Linger" and "Come One and All and Listen".

hello adpi's...i'm actually a pi phi and have some great adpi friends here (great chapter at u.tennessee, knoxville) but i'm writing because i think it's neat that we have some of the same cheers...like "boom boom" and "pi pi adpi" of course it's changed to pi phi and some small words are different-but i just though that was neat. good luck to all chapters!

I just re-read this thread, and had to tell y'all something:

I was at work about a month ago or so, and as someone was leaving, she said, "Bye bye!" (no tune or anything) To the surprise of my coworkers, I burst out into "Bye bye, bye bye, wipe a tear, baby dear, from your eye..."

Whenever anyone says "bye bye," the "bye bye" chant starts in my head! It never fails!

My chapter does more songs than chants...I guess it's our campus environment, since most chapters seem to do songs.

Last year we did "It's True It's Blue" and it went over really well.
