BUMP!

I had my "what do I want to be when I grow up" interview with the head of the internship program yesterday afternoon. We were told to bring in our resumes, and to have ideas about our career interests after the program is over so the staff can start working on job placement for us.

Well, to my surprise, when I went into the meeting yesterday they already had THREE offers on the table for me. I accepted a position in the division where I'm currently working! This is exactly what I wanted and now I don't have to worry about what will happen to me because of our budget shortfall. :)

The internship ends September 8th, and my promotion starts on the 9th.

I can't believe how quickly two years have flown by, and all of you were right there with me from the beginning. I am very thankful that most of you are here to see the end of this journey (and hopefully the beginning of a greater one!).

YEA!!! Course when I saw the title, I thought it was something else before I saw the 2002 date, lol.

I'm glad to know they know you are as terrific as we know you are!!

Can't wait to meet you at Convention! That's why I'm taking a few days after I get back to recouperate!:D

Here's a suggestion. On one pice of paper write internship on another piece write down job. Then mix them up in a bowl and pick out one, see how you feel after you pick that one. Are you happy or a little disapointed? Good luck!!

maria ended up choosing the internship back when she had those choices... and apparently she did a fabulous job!
