LOL. I approve.

When Arkansas State University was the "Indians", for many years the women's teams were the "Tomahawks". Their jerseys had "Tommies" printed on them. I never knew why. They changed to the "Lady Indians" in the late 80s.

I never realized that you went to CMU before! We had a few mixers there.

This was also a question for Ken Jennings' Tuesday Trivia over the summer. My DH is a Sports Information Director for Concordia U; we got it right!

If you ever hear of the SID position open at CMU, he's been lusting after it!

When I was there it was 14 NIC members and 5 NPC members, so I'm sure that mixers outside the campus were common...

Cool...

Not sure why he'd want CMU in that regard. This is a campus where the football team went undefeated in 1990 but less than half the campus knew! I guess he likes a challenge!

Johnson C Smith University in Charlotte, NC is the Golden Bulls. That includes the women's teams. At least they don't call them "Lady Bulls" as that wouldn't make any sense at all. And the Golden Cows wouldn't be much of an improvement.
