That's not true in all groups. In mine, it doesn't matter whether you resign or are terminated. However, you can apply for re-instatement but it's a 10 year wait period.

The best bet is to call your headquarters and inquire. They are the only ones who can give you the correct information without you spilling which organization it is online. Even then, you don't know that the person answering you is correct.

Interesting- I've heard Canadian members say IHQ for different orgs, but perhaps it is just dependent on what you are used to. I have heard American Alpha Gams use HQ, also :)
