Thanks for all the support everyone. I have a brother who is younger who goes to UTK also and he thinks frats are the stupidest thing you can join. I'm not going to tell him until after so I won't have to here about how dumb I am for doing it. He is kinda closed minded were I am open to every experience within reason. I hope to recieve a bid, but if I don't then thats fine and Ill just add it to the list of things I have done.
thanks again

We had a girl join our house who was 26. She was one of the best sisters Ive ever had, and she still is.

My fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, welcomes students of all ages to pledge our organization. This semester we have 2 pledges that are 31 and we think they're great. They stay on top of their pledge requirements and attend many socials, on top of juggling work and school. I admire those who are past "college age" that go back to school, and decide to join a fraternity/sorority.

I was initiated with a guy who was 36. It was kinda cool. He provided a voice of stability and maturity for the rest of us 18y year olds as new members.
