:) MOST EXCELLENT EVENING made better my multiple phone calls from him the next day. :)

He made me dinner and OMG was so amazingly good. We are both great cooks, its pretty funny, there's no reason to go to restaurants, we both prefer our own cooking. ha ha ha

hee hee

I'm glad everything went well for the second date and that you two have so much in common...especially the cooking part (HOW COOL IS THAT?).
Hootie;)

YAY for Amy!!!! :D :D

Rio_Kohitsuji 07-15-2002 09:14 PM

Yep...low rise jeans w/the aqua top. The low rise always does the trick..for added effect..add a thong. *nods* It's a sure thing..that's how I got my guy..LOL :D

3rd date clothing advice!

:D
Ok, date #3 is tomorrow(wednesday). I am cooking for him.

Pan Seared Filet Mignon in a cabernet Sauce
Garlic Chive mashed potatoes
Traditional Greek Salad (tomatoes, Cucumbers, Greek Olives, green onions, feta tossed in extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar--NO lettuce)

Appetizer is diced tomatoes, roquefort cheese and candied pecans drizzed w basalmic in lettuce cups.

SO WHAT DO I WEAR??????

James 07-17-2002 01:49 AM

LOL, just jewelry? Sorry couldn't resist, girls have to have a hell of a body to pull off the just jewelry look . . .

But seriously, do you have a dress that is somewhere between something casual and formal? Preferably black? But still comfortable to hang out in? Sundresses are mostly blah, I have met very few guys that think sundresses are anything less than frumpy.

In lieu of all that, how about a nice skirt and blouse combo? Throw in some black stockings. Casual but very sexy would be a nice combo, but I admit to having little fashion sense.

amycat412 07-17-2002 02:13 AM

I think I could pull off just jewelry ;) but its way too soon for that! ha ha

Well, its hotter than hell and the outfits you suggest are great--and totally something I'd wear out to dinner--but in?

Trying to achieve a few things--

Casual but not too casual--ie; Denim mini ok, denim shorts not.

Show off the bod a bit more but still be classy.

Try to survive the heat--I live in a classic 1930s apt--w NO AC!!! :(

Not have any awkward clothing moments--ie: i always end up, after dinner and wine, sitting on the floor in front of my stereo playing DJ Amy ... denim mini not good for that. :)

OH, and can almost guarantee he'll be wearing button down and shorts....

I don't have any great clothing suggestions but I just had to say DANG that's one heck of menu you have planned. My specialities are stupid things like quesadillas meanwhile you could open a restaurant.

EagleChick19 07-17-2002 01:55 PM

Good Luck with date number 3!! Post the details!

Peaches-n-Cream 07-18-2002 01:21 AM

Amy, how was your date? What did you wear? Is he the guy with the brother in NYC? I need a vicarious thrill! :p
