To elaborate a little on what PM_Mama00 said, you can certainly do a search, but I think a lot of the concern comes from the fact that he makes such ignorant, grammatically incorrect posts and advertises not only his school but his fraternity. That brings down Pike and UF. We all have a reputation to uphold as members of our GLO's, and he's not doing Pike any favors. I know in Kappa's New Member Promise, we all say "I will never do anything to injure the name of Kappa Kappa Gamma..." and although I'm not perfect, I do my best to uphold that. He takes Pike's ideals of gentlemanly behavior and respect for all and throws them out the window, like the fraternity means nothing to him. Personal attacks on people for the way they look (or don't, it's not like we can see each other here), posting which sororities on his campus are supposedly drug users... I know that if there were someone on here posting things like that and calling him/herself a Kappa, my moderator would never hear the end of it. I know people have been banned from here for making a slew of racist comments, I don't think his sexist comments are much different.

My personal feeling...someone called him a troll on another board, and I think s/he may be right. I know by reading that a lot of Pikes on this board are appalled by his behavior because like it or not, one does reflect on the whole. I wouldn't be surprised if this is someone with a problem with Pike who is out to ruin the fraternity's reputation, even though around here we know that each chapter is different.

I suppose now he's going to get on here and call me some snarky name or whatever...I say go ahead. It's like I've said before, I know who that REALLY reflects on.

Back to the original topic...the first GCer who was famous to me was KillarneyRose, because she sent me my first PM.

But the minute the boy came on the thread he was identifiable as a troll. From post one! I think it was about how wack sorority girls were or something. What SERIOUS person comes to GREEKCHAT to ask SORORITY girls why they're so wack?

Not someone who wants civil conversation, or to explore issues.

When y'all react to him you give him EXACTLY what he wants. The more hysterical and disapproving the replies, the more he posts, because he's getting what he wants.

When I get on the board, I search for pbpck's posts first, but I love reading posts from JAM, OTW, Hootie, KSigRC, Killarney, Tom Earp, newbie, damasa, & xok85xo[/B] as well. Why? Each of them bring some interesting mentality to the boards and are each very distinct in personality. JAM offers the worldly, motherly views it seems, KSig always can defend hiss position in a very informative way using his wit, pbpck is just the coolest girl I know and if she lived any closer...newbie is a light-hearted fun friend, and xok85xo is just sarcastic as hell, I think and it's fun (cause I am too).
