I saw this movie and it was really good. It's totally not a positive view of Greek life though. The girls only do the philanthropy to look good and they try to get rushees of different races just to look good too. It makes sorority girls look really bad, but i dont think it's tryng to make a statement or anything. it's a really funny movie and it's purpose is not at all to make us as sorority girls look bad.

I rented this movie when it first came out a few weeks ago. I didn't like the fact that the girls were using those kids to gain like chapter of the year. And, being an AOII, I didn't like them using our nickname in the movie. Granted, their shirts had the letters of Alpha, Omega, and Pi, but they definitly referred to themselves as "AOII's." For girls who are thinking about going through recruitment and don't know a lot about the greek system and the chapter names, this can be a bad thing. And, there is a school at SUNY Geneseo that has a chapter of Alpha Omega Pi, so I wonder how they feel about the movie.

I saw the movie and I believe they named the sororities similarly to the houses that they used in the film. For example, the Alpha Omega Pi house is the ADPi house there and the Tri Omega sorority used the TriDelt house there but also Kappa and Alpha Chi Omega.
I know all of this since I saw the movie with my best friend who is a TriDelta at USC. |

The movie isn't suposed to be a drama, it's a dark comedy. It's satiracle. It's supposed to be funny to people who gt that they are joking. |
Ok, at the risk of sounding totally picky/materialistic whatever you want to call it, BUT does anyone else think the Omegas on their grey sweaters look a bit off in that one pic with a whole bunch of them at the track ?? I don't know, I mean I can tell they are omegas.. but they just seem to look a bit weird to me.. I don't know... maybe I'm just tired or something...
