Yup, that's my point. I don't use the term "friend" referring to the random girl that sits next to me in biology or the girl across the hall. I'm talking about someone I can truely count on. I don't really consider personal lives when I look for qualities in friends. Besides, I feel what my friends do behind closed doors is their business.
