I didnt get to see the show but the commercials were so funny!
I couldnt believe how upset the people were getting! Or even happy for that matter, like the chick that fell under the table! hee hee hee!!!!!!

It was alright. I felt bad for the girl who forgot the words to the song she was singing and the peeps in the audience had to help her out.

The show is going to suck now because we get to vote instead of the judges that was the funniest and best part.

Last night I watched it, and they were so unprepared. This is an opportunity of a lifetime, and most couldn't even learn the words to the songs. :rolleyes: What a mess! I liked the guy with the deaf parents.

It does suck that the judges aren't really 'judging' anymore. BUT, apparanlty they will not be holding back their comments. The only crappy thing is that the rest of the people are really good. What is there to bash anymore?

I thought Simon was HILARIOUS. He was totally harsh. But common!!! That poor kid with the blue visor, (You've GOT to know who I mean) was soooo sad. I thought he was just nervous until they showed him outside singing again and he sucked just as bad. What was he thinking?

pathetic kid: "Well, this is my first audition"
simon: "and it should be your last!"

I thought the looks on the contenstants faces when Simon shot them down in his oh so special way was PRICELESS. They looked dumbfounded, unable to injest what had just been said to them. LOL.

It was also pretty funny when someone would be shot down but they'd start singing again anyway in hopes the judges would change their mind.

And Cheese Lady...LOL. That girl was too much. "Oh. I'm coming to Hollywood! I know I'm the best. I'll see you there!". LOL.

I honestly think this show is the best thing to ever happen to reality t.v. (toss up with the Osbournes :) ). It is the most brilliant marketing. Of course they'll be hugely popular. The American public chose them to be!

Wondering if I'm allowed to vote all the way up here in Canada. Do we get to help pick the American Idol????

Did you all notice though how so many of the finalists sounded the same? I mean, they sing in the same type of style...it's kind of hard to distinguish one from the other. Do we really need another guy who sounds like Usher or another Whitney/Mariah/Toni wannabe??? Hopefully, the winner will be somewhat unique, and have his/her own style-there were a couple of performers who did...
