I LOVED the tribute to Mary. However, it WOULD have been much better without Tyrese. He did not do her song justice! However, the 6 year-old TORE IT UP!!!

New Edition still got it! It was great to see Tom Joyner singing and dancing along in the aisle.

I luvvvvv me some Dougie Fresh!! I was waiting for "six minutes, six minutes..." That song takes me BACK. "Picture it, 1986, Atlanta University Center...." LOL

I couldn't understand why they had Vivica singing that part. I know they have the Set it Off connection, but I was really like :confused: :confused: Kimberly Elise looked like she was gonna pop somebody in the mouth. She looks so mean to me!

Why does Common always look so homeless??? Get a stylist man! You can keep it real AND look decent at the same time!

Pop Winans had me CU when he said "let me say something". I don't think Mom Winans heard him the first time so he brought it up a notch and said it again! LOL 10 kids and 50 years!! DANG. Momma's looking good, though. I love her silvery hair. I hope I go grey like that.

I'm sure our Omega brothers on here were screaming (or, more likely, barking) when Steve Harvey mentioned the four principles that Tom Joyner personifies. I was really expecting him to throw up the sign!

I watched it and thought it was pretty good. I made some observations and maybe you all can answer. I'm sure RefinedDiva has some answers out there for me :)

Who was Mos Def sitting by? That really stuck out to me...was that his guy or was that his friend? Just curious...:rolleyes:
