Unbelievable. That is truly disgusting. Why would he gloat about something that is so close to someone's heart? He's not just a degenerate, he's cruel.

I would just like to say that yesterday I rescued a ZTA badge off e-bay from a badge collector. (It's from the Alpha Beta chapter and it has a gavel dangle. Both the pin and the guard have seed pearls, just in case anyone recognizes it). Yay me!!! :D

Zeta love and mine,
Melissa

P.S. I'm also historian of my chapter so I guess I feel some duty to watch the auctions... :)

Good job ZTA Melissa. Aren't the gavel dangles reserved for chapter presidents? Maybe if you could get in touch with your Alpha Beta chapter they would be able to tell you which president it was...in any event, does anyone know what National HQ's actually do with old badges and such? Are they ever on display?

I thnk the old badges are just kind of put away because I don't believe our badges are marked at all, so I'm not sure if I would be able to find out whose badge it was. And I believe you're right about the gavel dangle being for presidents. I guess for now I'll just keep the badge and maybe notify IO that I have it in case anyone looks for it, but for now just keep it I guess.
