I have a grey tortiseshell cat named Sushi and a Heinz-57 mix dog named Charlie, and a Beta called "oh, he's still alive?" but I call him "hey fishy" for short.

We have a hyperactive mutt named Ajax......she has many aliases but I cannot put them in print. Actually she is a great dog, we love her, but she is a pain. My next dog is one of 2 things; either (the frontrunner) a tiny yorkie named Natasha or a yet-to-be-named golden retriever. I have been into goldens my whole life and I still adore them, I think they are bar none the prettiest, sweetest, best breed out there, but I really want something tiny next time. I figure less dog=less hair, less mess, etc.

I've been around a lot of rottweilers lately and I was surprised at how good natured they are, and I've decided that the type of dog I next intend to get. I love big dogs though....

My dog is named Morgan (actually Captain Morgan)

The cat was Queenie (got her when I was 5)

I have a black cat named Rhett here at my apartment and 2 persian cats a home one named Miss Scarlett and the other's name is Melanie. I was in a Gone with the Wind phase.

Also have a bassett hound named Casey. The stupid beagles name is Rebel, but we all call him Houdini because he constanly escapes.

I went through 2 beta fish within a year and then gave up on them because they die too easily. Their names were Yoshi and Kurasawa.
I now have two miniature dachsunds named Rocky and Sophie (usually called Princess Sophie because she always has to have her way), a box turtle named Max who hibernates from early September until late May, and several fish of different breeds. Most of the fish don't have names because they die everytime I name them. I had a trio of goldfish named Prospero, Ariel, and Caliban (I was reading The Tempest at the time), but the only one left is Ariel.

My Pets

I have had a dog since in was in fourth grade (1991) and he is a poodle/terrier mix named Alexander Michael (we call him Alex)

For my 21st birthday, my lil sis bought me a red-eared slider turtle that I named Zeus, I'm going to buy him a friend and name her Pandora.

I used to have a collie named Beau Reguard of the Meadows, but my father had him put to sleep.

I had several cats, but they always ran away - guess that's why I don't like cats anymore.

I usually have fish, but since I got Zeus, I don't really want another tank in the house.

LOL! That sounds like such a dachshund thing! I had two of them, and if it's possible for dogs to have a diva complex, they've got it!

Hootie, that's funny.. I have a dog named Fozzy also... didn't think it'd be that common a name for a dog. It's some kind of poodle terrier mix.

Have a beagle-bird dog mix named Jack

A cat named Humphrey (got the name because our previous cat's name was Bogart)

Our Fozzy Bear is a mutt ~ combo of pekanise and poodle ;) Poor thing has the worst smelling breath ever now that he's gotten older!

I had a springer spaniel mix dog named Savannah (the southern belle)...alas she died 2 weeks before my wedding of lymphoma. (I guess she didn't want to get married!)

My sister has a Yellow Persian kitty named Tobasco
I used to have 2 cockatiels named Tweety and Chipper Jones (I didn't name them)
I've had NUMEROUS (like 15 or 20) Beta fish in my life, can't remember all the names but "Sigma Beta" was my favorite;)

Currently, we have no pets, but we do have a bird who built a bird nest in the middle of our hanging fern outside( 5 little eggs in the nest!).

We have a female cat named Joey (named after one of my husband's fraternity brothers that helped save her from an evil raccoon that killed her mom and brother)

We have a female Shih Tzu named Sake (which means rice wine or rice beer in Japanese...my husband is Japanese and thought it was cool)

He wants to get a Chihuahua and name it Jose or Corona.

At home I have a Black Lab named Madison. (I am not sure why they chose this name. My family and I got her when she was 4 months old and the name kind of had to stay because she answered to it.) But she is a princess. My mom and I swear she was a person in her last life becasue she likes to sit on furniture and she craves attention and still acts very much like a puppy! Does anyone else have a lab that acts like a person?

:) :D
