If the 1st set of officers had knocked on doors in the 8-unit apartment building, instead of leaving after only 6 minutes, there might have been a possibility that Andy DelVesco may have had a chance to live. The UCLA hospital complex is only 1 block away from her apt. building.

I read that this weekend and was furious. WTH did they not follow through on responding to the call??? Just arriving at the scene and not following up is IMO an absolute failure to "protect and serve."

One man convicted. A 2nd man to be sentenced next week. Glad to see justice being done. Such a tragic story.
