we just had a softball game with one of the fraternities here on friday... we went to a local park and played for a couple hours before our greek week picnic... it was great, and the weather was beautiful... now that the weather is nice, it's a great opportunity to get together and hang out outside.... we planned a picnic at a local park/dam area last year with one of the fraternities.... picnic, frisbee.... good clean fun, doesn't cost anything if you turn in your meal plans for food to take for a cook out ;)

Ice skating is fun! (and really hard to do if you're drunk!)

If you're trying to keep alcohol out of your social functions it's helfpul to have SOMETHING to do that is fun. Traditionally we center our events on alcohol (not necessarily WE but some people -- you get the idea)... Just find something else to center it on and everything will be fine! Doing something like ice skating though is good because your members (your smart ones at least) will not want to preparty for fear of spending most of the night sliding on their butts...
