I used to say Pop or soda since I am from up North, but since I've been in TN I have grown accustomed to saying drink. LOL when I went to Chicago last month, I asked for a something and a drink. The guy was like ma'am we don't serve drinks here. LOL.. I was so outdone.

Here in Cleveland, of course, it is pop.

When I visit my Grandmother in Ft. Walton Beach, FL...it is DRANK....not Drink...DRANk...so what does my son call everything now?....Dranks...and everyone down there says I talk funny...lol

When I visit my Aunt in Alex City, AL..it is soda

Sorry, stepping into your forum here :)

I am from TX and we call everything Coke. People will say "What kinda Coke do you want?" Then you say "Dr Pepper" or "Sprite" or whatever it is you want. :) And if there is any kind of can lying around (other than beer) it is generally called a coke can.

Oh, and we sometimes say "soft drink".

In Louisiana - It's not soda or pop. It's "cold drank" or "Coke".... Orange coke, grape coke, etc...........

In my orignal state Wisconsin-- It's pop for the most part.

EEEEEEEE-YIP!!!!!
