You better drink that water girl!
Also be very careful of what soaps you use like Coast and Irish Spring that stuff can be very drying. Since you have mentioned having a T-Zone, there is a product you can use called Black Opal its formulated for African-American skin. Having T- Zone mean you forehead and nose and chin area produce more oils and the rest of your face is dry or normal. If you can please visit a dermotologist. You can be aggravating your skin more than helping it. Oh yeah while your face is damp spread some of that cocoa butter or Vitamin E on your face.Test your water too it might be hard (harsh chemicals) |
I feel your PAIN
I have very very very dry skin. I went to the dermatologist and she prescibed a lotion called "Lac-Hydrin" and it works wonders.

I exclusively use Mary Kay products on my face and that works great - my dermatologist signed off on that one..oh and I happen to sell it :)
But for my body I use Lubriderm and I am never chapped anywhere ...this was recommended by my Dr. At one point when I first started Lubriderm did not work so she has to prescribe Lac-hydrin .... that whipped me into shape, I don't have dry skin problems anymore. I find baby oil to actually be too think and I don't like many scented items. |
