Tom, you have a point...the key to beautiful makeup is to be SUBTLE!!!
It's a lot like perfume. Day after day of puting it on, you get desensitized and end up with a tendency to over do it. Summer-after I put it on, I take a tissue and lightly "rub" off the excess. Winter, I use a pretty firm brush. Sometimes I just use a moisturizer but love to play with eye makeup. If your skin is dry,you can add a little cream (I like Oil of Olay for sensitive skin) to your foundation. Nice in the summer when you want a lighter feel. Prep H- I've heard that as well...just haven't tried it-yet. One of the best tings you can do for your skin is DRINK WATER...LOTS andLOTS! If you are starting to get a few wrinkles, it really helps. Living in a humid climate has made a big difference. I don't have the lines or creases one would associate with my age. |
Bronzer......I swear by bronzer. It gives you a healthy tan without the UV rays, brightens and wakes up your whole face, and makes your face look thinner. Just apply it anywhere that the sun hits naturally (i.e.- bridge of nose, apples of your cheeks, forehead, and chin)
I just love it, my favorite is Cargo in light, looks very natural, and takes my typical ghost white palor off of my face. Of course, SPF 15 every single day. Like my mother always says, "a little prevention today, sends wrinkles far away!!!" Hehehe!!! Greek Love (& Beauty), Lil Snakey K |
