the most understanding way to deal with a hurt man, is with patience and more of a hands off approach. It takes time to heal. Establish yourself as a friend, help that person heal. Give that person some space and they will come around, no matter how objective they are towards establishing a new relationship. We must understand we are not machines, we have feelings, so if you really feeling that person give a lil patience.

BEWARE

One thing I would urge any sista to rember it can also be dangerous trying to pursue anything with a hurt person period- mainly because depending on how vindictive this person is he/she could try and find solace in betraying that ever so willing trust that you are extending to him/her:confused: . I've seen alot of my boys use the I've been hurt thing and because women are sympathetic to a bleeding heart and he appears to be a good man they find themselves with deep feelings for someone who has no intention of going back into a relationship but really just wants to fool around by any means necessary:eek: so I would suggest that you watch him closely and handle with care and caution because even though Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned- dealing witha Nigga who has been abused can be a son of bitch:mad:

IMO, the worst kind of relationship you can get in is with someone who was "hurt" from the recent past....more than likely, it's rebound. If a man were to tell me he broke up with someone recently and it really hurt him all kinds of red lights start flashing and warning signs get waived...at that point, I will keep my distance until I can see that he is ready to fully committ himself again through his actions, not his words...

But I think that should be your attitude in any relationship! I think on some level we are always on the rebound after a break up it is just what level of rebound are we on. Never accept a person trying to compare you to thier ex or someone else! You are not them and they are not you. Treat each person independant of your last relationship.

WHAT? I haven't even seen them yet! Where is SexyZeta?....Where is the wood?....LOL...

But seriously back to your response...it should be your attitude but for most people often times it is NOT. If you are still pining away for the ex, don't get involved again till you aren't pining nemore...it's THAT simple...
