I just wanted to tell you that I, like others, am so sorry that this happened to you! I am sure this won't be easy, but ultimately in your heart you know what is best for you! And those who do things like you did, are strong...for they know when to take fate into their own hands. Most would ignor the situation and act like nothing was going on. So be proud of yourself for taking a stand and doing something right for yourself.
In the meantime allow yourself time to recover. I don't know how long you dated or were engaged, however ANY breakup is like a death and you must come to accept it and deal with the sorrrow, hurt, anger etc. So don't be in such a hurry to move on! I know we all are, but really it's okay to grieve and to cry and to be mad. It's okay to miss him at times and it's okay to want to go out and forget about him! Just do what's best for you! Keep us posted! Luv Hootie |

ditto on what Hootie said and AePhi alum(don't get drunk-we all know about those ex boyfriend drunk phone calls)
I am soooooo sorry this happened to you but as everyone has said you handled it so well-I have nothing but admiration for you-you are classy. One of my friends is going through the same thing. What is really sad is she just had secured the minister for their wedding in January then on Feb. 1 he cheated on her and told her the next day he did not want to get married and there is someone else-urggggg. I don't get how you can be talking to a minister 1 week and then have a girlfriend the next???? Anyways, as I have said in other threads-I love therapy and think it heals -at least for me (I need to start doing commercials for therapists) |
