And I'm assuming the girls from SPSU are not included in those numbers, right? How many will be joining the new chapter? And what is their status as of this moment? They must really feel excited yet in limbo right now.

You assume incorrectly. They are a part of the colony class. The only difference between them and any of the other colony members is that they are already initiated. They will participate just like any other colony member throughout the process of building the chapter.

Any news on when the colonies will be installed?

Fall colonies are typically installed the following January/early February but dates, as far as I know have not yet been announced.
