No news yet! I believe that we are supposed to hear something on Friday, March 8. I'll let y'all know if I hear of any new developments over the next few days.

Has anyone heard any news lately?

Has anyone heard I ANYthing about Theta Theta? It seems like the subject has disappeared but we never heard how it was resolved.

I just got an email regarding Theta Theta today. In case everyone has not heard, their appeal was denied and the chapter was closed.

So sorry to hear that. Hopefully we will be able to recolonize there soon. My sympathies to the collegiates and alumnae.

It makes me very sad and nervous to hear news like this. Everytime I've heard a that another chapter has closed over the past couple of months, I worry about my own chapter, which has also been suffering from low numbers over the past few years. We've done everything we can to try to increase our membership, but it's hard to compete with larger chapters on a small campus with stereotypes that are deeply ingrained in the minds of the students (even though they would realize that none of those stereotypes were true if they actually got to know the sisters!). I wish international council would take a harder look at quality over quantity, because we would have many more active chapters if they did.
