Thanks CT4, I read her autobiography awhile back when our pastor mentioned it in church one Sunday, I am awestruck at her accomplishments. Thanks for the link about the play I look forward to seeing it in D.C. in November! I'll be sure to attend at that time:)

The play is coming to Charlotte in March at the Halton Theater on CPCC's campus. I don't have all of the details nor does Halton Theater's site: http://arts.cpcc.edu/performance-venues/halton-theatre


I will be at the March 5th performance and so will Soror Height in honor of her 95th birthday. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

It's coming here Feb. 22, 23, 24. She is supposed to attend, but right now her doctor has her travel restrictions. If she is able to come, I am chairing a private Delta reception. :D

We're having a private reception as well on opening night and everyone gets to take a picture with her.

I hope she is felling okay and will be well enough to travel to see you and me!:)

She was not allowed to travel but the show still went on! OMG, a phenomenal musical with a very talented cast in both song, dance, and the photographic images shown to support the musical.

I really enjoyed myself and cannot wait to listen to the play's soundtrack. I will definitely see this again!:D

I've been blessed to speak with Dr. Height on a few occasions. I spoke with her again at the play in early Feb. She wasn't feeling well then either. I hope she feels better.

I agree, the performance was amazing! They had so much energy, I wanted to jump on stage with them.
