Well since I'm not that tall, I like guys who are at least 5'8 and taller. And for some odd reason, I'm attracted to surfer type looking guys...if that makes sense. I mean I prefer guys with short hair, but if they have not too longish hair...like sandy blonde, with blue eyes, tan and muscular, then I'm totally hooked!
Also, I look for...

-a nice smile...because that's one of the first things I notice first
-buff arms...I like guys who work out
-a nice stomach...guys don't need to have the full 6 pack, but it is a turn-on to know the guy works out his stomach, i.e. the beer belly is not attractive

Yeah, don't think us shorter guys didn't notice that :p! I'm 5'10" and I won't date any girl who is 5' 8" or above (well there are a few girls I know that I woudl still date). Accordingly I totally prefer my women petite and about 5'5".

Hush it brotha! , 5'10" isn't short, I think 5'7" is average for a guy. I'm 5'11", so, of course I don't want to hear "short" comments. But, i agree though, it would irk me to be with a chick that would be like 6'2".

I'm 5'9" and some change. Only one man under six feet tall has ever asked me out. This has happened to me - I am out and sitting at a bar or at a table with my friends, a guy approaches, and we are hitting it off. He asks me to dance. As soon as I stand up, the guy looks pertrified and disappears. It goes both ways guys. I prefer my men 6'4" and gorgeous with a net worth that reads like a telephone number, but the reality is that a nice man under 6' with a great personality and a sense of humor can make me swoon.:)

Hey, 5'5" isn't petite! The average America woman is 5'3"!

Of course, I am a complete hypocrite for being of average height and insisting on a tall guy. It's hardly fair to the tall girls who really need a tall boy.

Hey FuzzieAlum, I couldn't stand it when the petite women were with tall guys. My college roommate is 5'2" and dated guys who were well over six feet tall. So all you short women, stop taking tall men from those of us who need them! :p

Hey, maybe I'm keeping tall guys away from the tall girls, but as long as the tall guys want to date me, I'm not changing my ways!

To me my husband has all of the physical qualities....

1. Nice thick dark hair but cut short and clean.....(little bit of gray is a sexy bonus and he is finally getting it!!!!!!)
2. GORGEOUS eyes, (don't care what color but his are incredible baby blue) with long, thick lashes.
3. Taller than me but not looming over me.
4. Big, strong body, big chest, broad shoulders, not a skinny neck, but not a big steroid monster.
5. Nice chest hair
6. Sexy, full, gotta-kiss-me lips
7. Nice smile
8. Classy, conservative dress
9. Strong arms/biceps
10. GREAT ass!!!
11. No chicken legs
12. Handsome face with strong bone structure, nice cheekbones

I could go on and on.....to me Brent is perfect!!!!! And the best part is he doesn't think he's good-looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't have said it better!!!!!! I'm even worse off than you are Cream. I'm 5'11" (everyone gasps...lol). It's sooooo hard for me to find guys that are taller than me. I have only dated one guy that was actually taller than me. Every time I see a guy who is taller than me with a petite girl I want to cry!!!!!!!! LOL. But hey...if it hadn't been for my dad (who is 6'6") marrying my mom (who is 5'3")...I wouldn't be here. :)

Oh you guys, the tall guy/short girl thing always annoyed the crap out of me.....my Granny called it "Itty-bitty" syndrome. She said that these guys were embarrassed by their tiny "equipment" so they tried to find a tiny girl who they thought would have "matching" equipment......but she said actually these tiny girls are the "cavernous" kind who usually lift one leg and shoot their baby across the room when giving birth......what a horrible stereotype!!!!!!! (Most of the tiny girls I know had a hard time in labor!!!!!) Although my husband dated this little short chick right before me and he said that having sex with her felt like he was dipping his you-know-what in a big bucket of warm water......or another analogy he likes is something about bowling down a wide hallway......

ANYWAY there is hope.....I know this really attractive, VERY tall guy and one of his prerequisites is that a girl be of a certain height.....he HATES looming over a short girl.....he only goes out with tall girls and he is now engaged to one.....

i find it very judgemental that you all are ASSUMINING that tall guys have small packages and all of us small girls are "caneverous". cause you know what??? my boyfriend is 11inches taller than me and isn't "small" either. don't be so sour b/c tall guys date small girls...good things come in small packages...like me!!!
