Also i recognize i come off superficial however if you knew me im really not. This is the few times where i care about the reputation. You are who you surround yourself with. I think i have a good reason to. Its no lie that people make split judgements about others, therefor your letters become apart of ypur identity.
The recruitment process itself is only based off judgments. With a system like that it is unnecessary to give me the third degree in the subject when it is the systems underlying fundamentals.
To those who posted, im sure you would have a different perspective if you went to my college and went through the whole process. For all i know none of you have been in the bottom chapter or had been rejected from your top picks. If i was so horrible than why do the majority of the people drop out the first time in recruitment and rush again? Why did so many of the girls who got bid in the chapter drop out? Dont make me look like such a horrible person when im not the only one with the same thought process.

I normally stay out of posts like this because I find the posters to be incredibly immature and clueless. But you came here, asked for advice, and then mentioned that we don't know your campus or you and even indicated that we may not know what it is like to be at a university where Greek life was so important. Sure, we may not know your exact campus, but I would have to guess that someone on here is very familiar with your campus, and a lot of of know what it is like to be a part of a Greek system that is big at their university.

You have no clue what any of our backgrounds are, how do you know we weren't in a "bottom chapter?" I was in fact was in a struggling chapter, and personally, I feel, it has made me love my sorority even more. It takes a lot to be in a struggling chapter, I gather that you may not have what it takes. But, it doesn't matter the tiers of the chapters we come from, every person on this board has faced rejection. Be a grown up and learn how to make the best of a situation, OR move on.

You are correct AXiD is an amazing organization, but guess what, all 26 NPC organizations have chapters that are incredibly strong and chapters that are struggling. ALL OF THEM!!!

Edited: "Says the girl," all I can say is OMG. I should have just ignored this like I normally do with these type of posts.

Oh my land. You really have learned nothing in two years. There is no such thing as a "top chapter nationwide. " There are chapters of A Xi D that every girl on campus would sell her soul to be in, and there are chapters of A Xi D that have trouble getting women to even attend one round of their parties. And EVERY. SINGLE. NPC. SORORITY is like this.
