I'm sorry, I know this is a place to post bad song lyrics but...........I like LUDACRIS so there, he has alot of style in the way he raps. And his new video for roll-out is hillarious when its the big headed version of him with the small body dancing! :D

KarenC725 02-08-2002 02:20 PM

While I agree that 80's hair bands rule, some of the lyrics aren't all that great. I love Pour Some Sugar on me but,it isn't exactly poetry:)

THANK YOU!!! I was waiting for someone to show some love for Ludacris. I think he's clever and I enjoy all of his songs. I saw him live when he opened for Outkast and it was a lot of fun. :)

I like Luadcris too...
Summer Girls (aka Abercrombie and Fitch song ) Ill admitt was a lil retarded but I'll admitt it was also catchy... Here another line by them that I think is dumb but I love the song....

Cherry Bubblious and coca coca pops, got you on my mind and it just wont stop. Tilt a whirl baby til the break of dawn , something something something then gone.

And even though I love Miss Mary J Blige, where the heck did Hataration and Hollaration come from???

SSS1365 02-10-2002 01:41 PM

Anything by LFO is stupid.

"At the risk of sounding cheesy, I think I fell for the girl on TV"

Yeah, EVERYTHING they sing sounds cheesy!

Optimist Prime 02-10-2002 07:43 PM

St. Lunatics-
I'm like an ash tray I touch butts all day, you can treat me like a toilet you can sit on me, let your knees touch your nostrils

LFO (again)-

Mary J. Blige and Wyclef-
Someone please call 911 (yes please! )

What's the artist and the name of this song where this guy who once "got caught doing it in a Burger King bathroom" (80's rap song)?

SigmaChiCard 02-11-2002 12:30 PM

I can understand liking Ludacris' beats & actual oratory skills, but in regards to his lyrics, they're horrible. I prefer intelligent rap which is people like Wyclef, Nas, Canibus, Outkast, the roots and a few others, but Ludacris just raps and makes himself look like (IMHO) a retard.

I guess I could give a few examples
"We go-bots and robots so they gotta wait til the show stop
or how 'bout on the beach with black sand
lick up your thigh then call me the Pac Man"

"we can do it in the white house
try n make them turn the lights out " ???

"Cadillac grills, Cadillac mill's
Check out the oil my Cadillac spills
Matter of fact, candy paint Cadillacs kill
So check out the hoes my Cadillac fills"

Where in any of that are lyrics worth air-play?

KarenC725 02-11-2002 01:15 PM

I had forgotten the Cadillac song! Thanks for making me laugh!

2 Live Crew--

"Like a dog in heat, a freak without warning. My appetite for sex makes me so horny...Oh, me so horny! Oh oh, Me so horny!" The song's retarded, but it's really funny, though!

Speaking of rhyming IGNITION, EDITION, and KITCHEN.

"I never had no one
I could count on"

From "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw. I used to hate this song because of the first line, but I got over it.

Bad grammar usually drives me nuts too, but it's forgiveable in country and rap :)
