Are things about to go to hell in a hand basket? Or just more rhetoric?

Now, North Korea is saying the U.S. government was behind "The Interview" & North Korea is also threatening destruction.

This has more plot twists than a daytime soap opera.

The Interview will see the light of day, according to Sony lawyer David Boies.

Boies appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday and claimed that Sony’s controversial comedy The Interview “will be distributed.” How it will be distributed, however, he admitted is unclear right now.
“Sony only delayed this,” Boies told Meet the Press host Chuck Todd. “Sony has been fighting to get this picture distributed. It will be distributed. How it’s going to be distributed, I don’t think anybody knows quite yet. But it’s going to be distributed.”

And things progressed extremely towards ironic comedy today:

North Korea is experiencing wide-spread internet outages.

:D

Obama said the response would be "proportionate." "Nice internet you got there. Shame if something happened to it."

For the life of me, I don't understand people who think that guy is weak.

Well, over 100+ theaters have now booked The Interview for 12/25; I'm very glad to see Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Speech triumph over the blatant bullying that occurring last week.

Freedom of Profit, too...:)

At least one local theater owner told the news that he was excited to show the movie because he knew he could sell it out. I doubt that Sony is going to make any money on this, but the indie theater guys might.

It has nothing to do with freedom, it has to do with $$$$$$.

By Gregg Kilday

Sony’s The Interview will become available today on a variety of online platforms including YouTube Movies, Google Play, Microsoft’s Xbox Video and Sony’s own dedicated website www.seetheinterview.com, the studio has announced. The movie, which will go online at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, can be rented for $5.99 and purchased in HD for $14.99.

“It has always been Sony’s intention to have a national platform on which to release this film,” Michael Lynton, chairman and CEO of Sony Entertainment, said.

I don't understand why they'd make such a big deal over an overseas dick who wouldn't do anything because he couldn't do anything even if they did release the movie. This country has turned soft.

I bought the movie. It is outstanding if you enjoy the sort of thing Franko and Rogan would appear in. I bought it because it is my duty as an American to do so.

Franco is enjoyable when he actually acts (see: Milk) and when he's naked.

Rogan is enjoyable when he stays in his house with no camera and never comes out to make movies.
