Niece had a great time today! Attended 6 parties and LOVED 5 out of 6 of them! Would be happy to return to any of them.

Echo this sentiment. We are always surprised how friendly folks at OSU are. And the campus is absolutely gorgeous - especially the Student Union area/lawn.

Don't know if it's still this way, but when I was there, there was an unspoken rule, almost universally honored, that you acknowledged/greeted people you passed on the sidewalks on campus, if it was a manageable number. Made a campus of 25,000 seem like Mayberry.

Just heard from SIL.Niece had fun again yesterday. SIL told me 6 that she is returning to today, but she may have more on her schedule that SIL could not remember. Niece is happy!!

Any chance we could get a recruitment story? I'm jonesing since all the retro threads have slowed down. I just need a little fix, I swear.

Niece's top two favorites remained that way today, but another two that she felt just so-so about yesterday improved in her mind today. There is still some confusion on SIL's part as to whether she had 6 or 7 parties. Niece was bummed that she did not have a full schedule, but she did like 4 (or 5 if she attended 7) a lot, and one of the ones that she had hoped she would not return to moved up in her estimation. I hope she has a full schedule tomorrow!

I'm in Stillwater for the evening and will post a pic of the AOII house when I get home. The Greek area if campus is all torn up with road construction!

Dark clouds today. Niece received one invitation today (out of a possible 6), but the silver lining is that it is to one of her favorites and a legacy chapter. She also discussed the possibility of the AXD colonization, so she is thinking ahead (just in case).Tomorrow is prefs. Positive thoughts and prayers would be appreciated, that niece has a party to attend tomorrow. (after rush is over I will post more details on what I think happened)
