I'm so sorry for your loss, FSUZeta, and for the loss suffered by Zeta Tau Alpha and the Panhellenic community as a whole. I hope someday that I can have half the legacy Deb left. Clearly she was an amazing woman.

This sad news was on my Kappa Delta Facebook feed today. So sorry for the loss of a great woman.

Deb was certainly an inspiring role model in the fraternal world. My condolences to all who knew her.

FSUZeta - My deepest condolences. Fifty-nine is far too young to pass away, but it is inspiring to hear that Deb lived an extraordinarily full and impactful life that touched so many people.

I'm sorry for your loss. Many organizations put something up on their Facebook pages speaking highly of her and giving their condolences to include my sorority and my husband's fraternity. She sounds like she was very loved.

What a wonderful and accomplished woman. My condolences to the Ensor family and Zeta Tau Alpha.

Thank you all for the kind words and thoughts. Deb's legacy will live on.

Here is some good news that was posted on the ZTA FB page:
"Our late Executive Director Deb Ensor loved horses and racing. Today, a horse named after Deb, Miss Ruby's Legacy, ran in her maiden race in Indiana. Miss Ruby's Legacy showed came in second! (Deb loved our founder Miss Ruby Leigh Orgain and the stories of their meetings are known far and wide in Zetaland.) The horse was named after Deb. There is another named "Seek the Noblest." The horses are trained by former TLC Ashley Amoss' father. Deb found out about this surprise earlier this summer and was very touched." |
