Yeah, I love Hollywood. They really know how to conect with us people with short attention spans. :)

Yeah...well, for all intents and purposes. People still claim to see it from time to time, but nothing like what went on in the 60s. It, or he, or whatever, has been seen in other locales, too...usually right before something bad happens. Accounts of this thing go way, way back--some groups of Indians have legends about a "thing" similar to this.

It would be kind of cool to see the mothman wouldn't it? Like be able to hear his predictions?

If that's the reason, that is one rotten teacher.

You should start a thread, lawryn! I love to read about that sort of thing and I know a lot of other GreekChatters do, too! :)

Typical HollyWeird, not much of a closure! Just dont see them anymore in Mt. Pleasent!:( OOOEEEE:rolleyes:

Is there many things out there that we do not know about, damn bettu!:)

"SHIT"!:o

Who did build the Pryamids? Not just the ones in Egypt. What about the pixs of "Space Looking men"?

How about the Spook light in N. Ok.?

Hmm, are we really the only ones out there in Real life?

Easter Island, Bemuda Triangle, Atlantis, Arkansas, Nessie?

If only Sherlock Holmes was still alive! Well instead of living in a Pub on North Umberland in London! ;)

Funny, was at a drive-in one night saw some strange lights in the sky! Got out of My Beetle car with a .357 Magnum and was going to take them out! Turned out to be Army Helios in Formation! Well was practice, I would have got killed!;)

As a local, I'll tell you what has been told to me. Basically after the Silver Bridge fell he simply disappeared. People say he's been at the TNT plant ever since and some say he hopped on his spaceship and flew away. *shrugs* Here's another tidbit that'll make you cry, when the bridge fell there was an ambulance on the way to the hospital w/a woman in labor :( I still may have some pics of the river sweep they did..I'm going to see if I can steal them from my dad to scan them in.

Do some research on Point Pleasant..it's quite interesting. Back in the Civil War (I think that was the time period) Cheif Cornstalk placed a curse on the land so it would not grow and prosper as it should. From that time on it has a HORRID economy, people continue to leave and well...by now it should be huge, but it's a ghost town of sorts. Funny thing is, right across the river in in Gallipolis we're thriving. Funny things those curses are :p
