A member of the Bama swim team was killed last night when a basement retaining wall collapsed on him. He was trying to hold it up to keep it from coming down on his girlfriend.

I saw that on the USA Swimming feed. Poor guy.

My problem is minor. Two of my neighbors have been arguing for a few years about a giant elm that is dead and close to their property line. It is now in my back yard, on top of the dog pen. (Dog was in the house with us.) I just ordered a new privacy fence. I'm glad that it came down before the fence went up.

Well, I guess this is a rare Fall alert. Bumping this thread up, as this weird October weather is causing a lot of storms, damage and tornadic activity.
