I didn't even know about any high school sororities or fraternity type establishments until a year ago. Evidently there are all sorts of these groups in the south and also in boarding schools across the country. A couple guys who know my chapter very well still have reservations about joining because of some crap they did in boarding school. Weird, whatever...I can't see the point in getting hazed that hard to join the secret cool kids every night for a secret meeting discussing highly important high school topics over a cup of coco.

Is this a southern thing? We had enough problems with cliques in my (yankee http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif ) high school, it would have been horrible to actually have official groups like that.
