This isn't a mean thing but...

I had just started dating Hunny, and I was staying with him, and we were getting ready to go out, and I was putting on blush. He pops in the bathroom, and says:

Him: "Is that rouge?"

Me: (thinking, ok, no one calls it that but..) "Sure"

Him:" Ladies pinch....whores use rouge"

Me" What??!!"

He bursts out laughing-turns out that it was a line from a Simpson's episode that we had laughed at, and he decided to use it. I had forgotten it was from the Simpsons, and when I realized that he didn't mean it, and was trying to be funny, I wasn't mad. But I still remind him of it sometimes.:)

......can we still be friends?

Oh...and the all time worst.
her:"my dad forbade from taking to you or seeing you or anything and i'm grounded basically even though i am eightteen. This isn't fair. I will always love you, no matter what. We will still be married someday. Promice you will find me again."

OH my god..its been like five years. I guess I should start looking.

not necessarily said to me but.... still mean...

"you were just some great a$$"

"you know sometimes you're butt seems so small"

"get out the car" -- it was my friend's car, not her bf's

"i have a daughter" -- after being together for 8 months

"i think you're cool, but your friend is much prettier."

"you're a b--" -- that was after i called him an a$$hole, though!!!

"You would have a great body if it weren't for your stomach."
I'm thinking, "You would be a great guy if it weren't for your mouth."

WTF?! Do guys realize that like 2% of women are actually capable of completely flat and cut abs? And if you have a large chest the likliehood of super model abs are even less? And if you eat or DRINK at all you will not have super model abs?? ESPECIALLY after the age of 25?! tHAT is something all men should be taught.

:) OK, stepping off my soapbox to go do my 1/2 hour of daily crunches and other assorted ab workouts so that no one ever says that to me -- cause I think 99% of us have heard that one, Cream, you're not alone. Hell, I personally don't think there's a damn thing wrong with my abs, they are flat, but they don;'t look like Britney's and never will, and still superficial, dumb guys say stupid Sh*t like that.

Sigh.

Well, I figure since I work out just to offset the drinking/cheeseburgers/etc that I do, there's no reason to expect 2% bodyfat on girls . . . not all guys are unreasonable.

OK that last sentence isn't really true - but not all are unreasonable in this way ace, if for no reason than for the reciprocal understanding.

but that's just the thing-- seems like women are much more accepting of the flaws in a man's body/we don't expect you all to have Brad Pitts abs and pec, then a lot of men are of the perceived flaws in a woman's body...

Of course, it can also be said, quite truthfully, that we women are way harder on our own bodies than you guys are on them...

Its just the whole abs thing that ticks me off. Genetically, most people can't acheive that. Trust me, I've been trying. ha ha ha

hey gorgeous :) You dont need to change a thing. Your perfect just the way you are. :D

I knew that quote would get a reaction! He is a total DICK! I thought that I looked really cute that night, and I was feeling good and BAM! insult! I went from  to  and then ! I went to my sorority reunion a few days later, and all of my sisters told me that I looked the same as I did when I was in college which was nine years ago so I have looked like this :D ever since! That was our last date so that guy is history! I don't need to be an insult magnet!

Amycat, you said it! Thanks! I'm totally over it. I love my belly and it loves me!:p

shadokat 01-09-2002 03:06 PM

"I just need some time" - when you know they could have the rest of their lives and shit wouldn't change.

"I love you but I'm not in love with you." - yeah, I understand the concept, but it still sucks!

By the way, how does someone hide they have a child for 8 months?!?!?

If said baby lives with baby mama, then it is quite possible, and quite often done.

"Why are you trying so hard?"

said when I was out with random folks and hating it but trying to be nice. Some random dude said that to me and it just ruined my whole night. Yeah, I still can't stand him.

I really don't get these comments often because it's known that they would be scraping their face off the floor when I was done with my analysis of their faults. Or maybe all the people I know are passive aggressive. I dunno.

yes in fact that is very true. he was not living with the baby's mom so i had no clue that he had a baby.

and i got more:

"i love you. but i've loved her longer."

"are you ever going to change your look?" -- you mean the way i looked when we got together isnt doing it for you anymore??? oh well.

"you should hit the gym."

Miami1839 01-10-2002 06:16 PM
