I am sure they must have gender, both female and male.

Moochagoo 01-08-2002 08:58 AM

So, do they have DNA ?
:p

Since they are a higher being probably not, but I believe there must be male and female souls.

I don't understand the meaning of male/female soul without DNA (female/male body). Do you find this in Bible ?

I like the idea of angels being souls without gender. Some could be our loved ones who were souls that landed in a male or female body and took on those qualities. After the body dies, they return to a non-gender state. Interesting ideas on this thread, but for the MOMENT, I like brooklineu's thoughts.

.[/Bangels in themselves as holy beings of light have no gender. But in their form towards humans, they appear in a human-like form to mirror our own selves. And if they appeared to an animal, they would appear in animal-like form. Therefore, in OUR views of them as angels as we would see them, or have contact with them, we would see them as a human with a specific sex, but in their own original forms are genderless beings of light, ie, not human.[B]angels in themselves as holy beings of light have no gender. i absolutely love the idea of angels! other beings helping God out...c'mon. i totally believe they exist...whether male or female makes no difference...but i really think that angels are a combination of God-like souls and our loved ones that have departed and gone from us. my friend luke passed away last year (he'd be 21 today, actually), and there are times when i feel like is right next to me, or walking behind me...i guess it could just be wishful thinking...but at the same time, do people always have to have scientific evidence to believe in something? plain ol' faith is wonderful.

and a weird thing on that note: i was having a dream the other night that i kept seeing someone that looked like luke and i started to cry, then i woke up abruptly and i felt goosebumps on my arm that immediately just lifted off of me...like he was there, but left as soon as i woke up. it's hard to explain...but i have dreams where he visits me a lot, and it's not just a dream...it's a visit. he's checking on me. they don't happen when i think about him a lot...he comes when something is going on in my life. so weird. but i love that i have it.

Its just my personal opinion. I don't now the real answers because I am not dead yet to ask the angels the truth.

All I know is that in my elementary school Christmas Pagents, the angels were always girls.

Guess Gabe and Mike weren't there.
