Cream, contact HQs. They have the brochure from Masters of Design that has all the options. My first pin had no pearls...just gold plated and the triangle. I got mine upgraded to 10K gold with the pearls. They also have this awesome pendant that looks like our badge, minus the middle black triangle. It's gorgeous because it has diamonds where the pearls would be, and it's silver instead of gold. Check it out :)

Ahhhhhhhhhh, it's good to be back on the boards! It is quite difficult to get online at my parents', because we live in a very rural area, and there is only one local access number (who wants to pay long distance phone charges for AOL:rolleyes: ).

Anyway, I'll tell you about Sigma Sigma Sigma's badge process. Each and EVERY one of us has the same badge. No customization, no special engravings. I kinda like that (not to knock other GLO's way of doing things, because my dad's LXA badge is gorgeous-pearls and garnets...or rubies...;) )-it unifies us. I will say that not every chapter orders a chapter guard on their badges, but it seems to me that most do. We all have the same thing engraved on the back-our chapter designation and inititation number and our initials. For example, mine says CMA and 'Beta Xi' 1144 (with the actual Greek characters-I don't know of any way to properly type a 'Xi' :D )

We hang dangles from the chain that attaches our chapter guard to our badge. Some are larger than others...mine has 6 right now, but I need something like 6 or 7 more. Who knows when I'll get them...I'm a lazy bum and didn't work over break, so I don't have much extra cash laying around.

It took 3-4 months for my pledge class to get their badges. The Gamma Phi Beta badge can be customized in about a million different ways with different jewels or pearls and different placements for the jewels (on all three letters, just on the phi, etc). Also, we had a large pledge class (50+ members), so that may have had something to do with it.
