I have a friend in another house who did NOT want her little sis to pledge her sorority. There were some jealousy issues with the younger being the prettier of the two in high school, and the older never getting over it. The little was not invited back to the older sister's sorority, but we use P-RUSH so she never knew it. I wonder if this is an exception to the first round invitation rule usually extended to legacies?

DeltaBetaBaby,

Just curious ... what is P-RUSH?? I've never heard of that term before.

PRUSH is the system where PNM's rank the houses right after visiting each of them. The day of the next round, they get a schedule with up to the maximum number of houses on it.

SORUSH is the system where PNM's get a list of all the houses that want them back, and then pick their top choices.

My chapter had a few legacies come through during rush. One was a triple legacy, and another one had a sister who is an active now. I'm not exactly sure how the whole process works, but I do know for a fact that we must put a legacy who attended Pref Night first on our bid list.
