I wish you could still fly planes over the BB house, I'd fly a big ole banned letting Aaryn and Gina Marie know they're now unemployed. I'd love to see the response from them.

"Rights," particularly First Amendment ones, have nothing to do with anything if the government is not involved. These people entered the BB house voluntarily, knowing what was in store. They signed contracts with CBS, which only cares about ratings, not about the feelings of their "house guests." CBS will do something about the comments if people stop watching. But if people keep watching, or watch to see what horrible thing will be said next, why would they do anything other than exploit it?

These guys are super classy.

I happened upon Big Brother After Dark and heard that, too.

TPA85 07-07-2013 01:07 AM

CONFIRMED! She is no longer a ZTA. She claimed (on BB After Dark) that she disaffiliated because her 21st birthday fell over rush week and "they wanted to charge [her] $100 a day to miss it".

Good thing she's out because she had NOTHING nice to say about ZTA, another sorority by name, and said said "and all the other ones.. ehh".

I dislike her greatly.

ETA: She also said that Zeta's colors were pink and turquoise..so she has proved to be an idiot and clearly gained no knowledge during hew NM period or initiation.

Now Spencer's job is on the line too.
"Clawson has been captured on "BB" cams calling one houseguest "Kermit the F**" and praising Hitler as a gifted speaker. "

Clawson serves as a railroad conductor for Union Pacific, who released a statement on their
website saying, "The values represented by Spencer Clawson's comments during
the Big Brother show do not at all align with Union Pacific's values." They
continued, "Mr. Clawson is on unpaid leave of absence while participating on Big
Brother. Union Pacific does not condone his comments." They ended their
statement by saying they are "acting in accordance with Collective Bargaining
Agreement terms regarding Mr. Clawson"

I understand harsh feelings toward the first comment but let's be serious.. Hitler WAS a gifted speaker. He convinced thousands of people to execute millions through speeches. Saying he was gifted isn't saying he was a good guy and he supports him......

TPA85 07-10-2013 04:29 PM

And now Jessie.....
Last night on BB After Dark she was talking about going to a club and some guy she liked was "dancing with some girl and her retarded brother"...
so another houseguest clarifies "...like Down Syndrome...??"
she says "YEAH!" and everyone got silent (except Jessie, who kept going with the story).

If she weren't unemployed going into the house, my guess is she would have been after eviction.

Exactly. I don't watch the show, but I had to come here and see what everyone was saying about the racist comments that are being plastered all over the news.

Reality show tv "stars" do not have their rights stripped from them when they go on these shows. They have the right to shut their mouth and not say stupid, racist, insensitive things. If they choose to give up that right, then they should expect that whatever they say is for the world to hear. They need to deal with the consequences. It's not CBS's fault that these people are ignorant morons.

And yes, the First Amendment has nothing to do with this.. at all.

Is it just me or does it seem like the fallout is way more this season? This can't be the first time there has been questionable conversations in the "afterdark" episodes. It will be a miracle if anyone has a job when they get out of that house.
Jessie just drives me crazy, especially when she talks about how attractive she is:eek:.

NutBrnHair 07-11-2013 10:19 PM

Game on. Now, I'm into it.

ms_gwyn 07-13-2013 02:46 PM

I have decided that Aaryn is just completely clueless and will get a very rude awakening very, very soon. And when it does happen she will continue to close down and get worse. It will take *a lot* for her to realize how inappropriate she is. She is just too young and too sheltered and still very into herself and her cloistered world.

SWTXBelle 07-13-2013 03:12 PM

I don't watch BB, but saw a commercial with a woman saying awful things while apparently wearing a Texas State shirt. I had hoped I was wrong. I wasn't.

sigmadiva 07-14-2013 09:52 PM

I think there is something fundamentally wrong with Aaryn.

tootiepie2 07-14-2013 10:48 PM

Have any of you aware of a time where a situation like this hurt recruitment for chapter? I know she is no longer a member but I am sure it is well known that she was a member of the chapter. As adults we know that every chapter has it's mean girls, partiers, quiet girls, studiers etc. But do you really think 18 yr olds think like that? Or do you think most of them are as self centered and worried about being in the right chapter that they might think she is cool?
There was a well known on campus incident at my daughters school last semester with a mean girl who was kicked out of her sorority after but I am wondering how pmn's will see it or if they will even remember or care.

Ladybugmom 07-16-2013 10:37 AM

AAryn is beyond mean...I wonder what her parents are thinking about her behavior? If that were my daughter, I would be mortified!
I was watching "After Dark" last night and some of the house guests were talking about Aaryn, saying that she admitted that she didn't do well in her sorority or on the dance team (referring to Strutters, which she quit after one year). Wow..what a shock... (not). I would bet that she has had girl issues her whole life.

Phigirl04 07-16-2013 11:31 AM

Aaryn will definitely have a rude awakening once she returns to normal life. I'm not sure how these people forget that they are on national television and that everything they say/do is going to be scrutinized by everyone watching. That's part of why I've never had the interest in being on a show like this or Real World. One comment, even taken out of context (although that is not the case here) can change your life forever.
