Well, my university does a fully combined informal Greek Rush in the Spring and Fall. This consists of NPHC, NPC, & IFC--all local orgs included. Meet the Greeks is a combined event. Also, there is a party/mixer rotation for Fridays and Saturdays where a group of fraternities and sororities from all councils will host an event together and no other orgs are allowed to display para/letters, but they may attend. Also, Fall and Spring Rush are each 2 weeks long, but NPHC Week is only within one of those weeks. Any Rush participation from NPHC orgs beyond that week is optional.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't include the guys because I was assuming fraternity rush was not part of this discussion. But I do know the NPHC is both ;) Care to explain at all what is involved with FORMALLY expressing interest? Could a girl, for instance, attend a round or two of an organized rush without stabbing herself in the foot where it applies to formally expressing interest?

Are there NPHC groups that allow first-semester rush?
