Yes!! we found that the cost is actually less over the entire year as well! When our private chef was over budget or sick which caused us to order food in it threw us off budget. Greek House Chefs gives us a consistent bill each month regardless if chef is over budget and they have other chefs substitute for our chef if he becomes sick. They take all the stress out of managing our kitchen, save us money and the food is awesome!

One thing that might help is getting in touch with other fraternities on campus thru the IFC and seeing if they want to get in on a volume discount (with separate billing of course) with a caterer. That might mean having the same meals as other houses but it could bring the overall cost down significantly if you could get caterers to bid on x meals per week for y houses on campus during z period of time. With that kind of guaranteed volume business, they would bend backwards for you.
